Coaching for Humans, Not Robots

I’m Albert Clayton Lamm, but everyone calls me AJ.

My path to becoming a career coach was anything but traditional. After graduating with a degree in Digital Film, I spent years as a sales leader and trainer — from selling for RadioShack in my early 20s, to training an entire Costco warehouse that went on to break national sales records one holiday season.

That experience taught me how to simplify complex ideas and help people perform at a high level. Later, I joined Pathrise, where I became a top mentor and admissions manager on the sales and customer success track. Over several years, I helped thousands of professionals — from recent college grads to C-suite executives — land roles at some of the most competitive tech companies. During that time, I personally generated millions in program revenue and listened to thousands of interviews, giving me rare insight into what actually works.

But my approach was shaped long before then. When I graduated from college, the career support at my school was almost nonexistent. I had to figure it out the hard way — through trial and error and being honest with decision-makers. That experience left a deep impression on me. I promised myself that if I ever got the chance to help others, I would give them the kind of guidance I wish I had received.

That’s exactly what I do today.

I don’t just help you get a job. I teach you the full methodology, so you truly understand the game. My goal is always independence — when we’re done, you should no longer need me. Many of my clients now coach others because they’ve internalized the principles at a deep level.

Whether you’re neurotypical or neurodivergent, my job is to help you unlock your natural strengths, build the right systems, and create a career that actually fits the life you want to live.
